A New Doll

This is one of Mom's latest dolls, a maid who's been interrupted by a feline visitor! Mom made her just before Christmas.

Mom and I work in different ways. Mom has a hard time starting a project unless she knows she has enough time to finish it, but once she starts, she will work on it until it is done. I, on the other hand, usually have at least a half dozen smaller projects going at once, and have been known to let half-finished projects languish for months.
How do you make miniatures? Do you find it hard to get into the right mind frame unless you have plenty of time, like my mom,  or do you prefer to squeeze tiny projects in whenever possible? Do you work on one project until it's completed, or work on whatever you feel like?

  1. I'm like your mum, I have to plan and have enough time to finish my mini's, hence Somerset House is not being done at this time, But I do plan to work more this year.

  2. I think I work both like you and your Mum! It largely depends on what the project is though. If it's large I like to keep at it and not start anything else large until it's finished. If it's little mini's then I do several simultaneously, but they can languish for months and then I go back to them! lol

Your Mum maid is great! :o))
